Default Cheap Tires, Pirelli P6 FourSeason 275/35/18

For those of you, who like myself, drive your car daily and put alot of KM's on it....running sticky/expensive tires is pointless.

I came across these:

http://www.wheelsnext.com/tires/Pire...ourseaons.html

$112 USD/each for 275/35/18's + $40/4 shipping. Under $500 USD Shipped FedEx.

These are OEM-Type Tires that came on a bunch of cars from the factory in the last few years.

Fortunately, 275/35/18's must not be very desireable, as they are the cheapest size listed (even vs. $197 for 225/55/17's).

These are perfect for summer road tripping.
I am ordering a set of 4 right now.

damn. I always buy the Falken 452s and Im getting sick of spending $1000 every season on rubber. Maybe this is a good option for this season. Mine are skins and Ill need to replace them before I even put my summer rims on the car
Nice price.

i checked the ratings and these tires are fuckin junk. i would them for soley the INEXPENSIVE pricetag.

edit- actually no.

Quote:
I had these tires as OEM tires on my Volvo S60 T5. These tires have bad wet traction and ok dry traction. Handling sucks, the sidewall is too soft.
Quote:
"Don't let my rating for this tire fool you. I would never buy this tire again. This tire came OEM on my 2002 Volvo S60 AWD (luv the car). Both front tires developed sidewall bubbles. They were probably from potholes. I know the drivers side went through a large pothole at highway speed, but I don't have an excuse for the passenger side. I am replacing all 4 tires with Bridgestone Potenza 950's rather than replace the 2 bad tires with Pirelli's."
Quote:
I HAVE HAD 3 FLATS IN THE LAST 2 MONTHS WITH THIS P6 FOUR SEASON TIRE. I AM CONCERNED THAT THESE TIRES OVERHEAT AND ARE NOT CAPABLE OF SUSTAINING MINOR BUMPS AND/OR OBJECTS IN THE ROAD. THE FIRST ONE WAS FROM A POT HOLE IN THE STREET GOING APPROX 30 MPH; SECOND ONE GOING APPROX 70 MPH ON HIGHWAY (I COULD'VE DIED WHEN THE TIRE BLEW); AND THIRD ONE GOING APPROX 70 MPH ON HIGHWAY. THE FIRST AND THIRD BLOWS WERE ON THE RIGHT REAR TIRE AND THE SECOND BLOW WAS ON THE LEFT REAR. THESE TIRES SUCK BIG TIME ADDITIONALLY, I NOTICE THAT I FEEL VERY UNSAFE DRIVING ON WET ROADS; SO MUCH FOR "ALL SEASON
Quote:
Tires came on optional 17" wheels on 2001 Volvo V70 T5. I have replaced two that developed sidewall bulges, from hitting potholes I assume. In the last two days the third of them has developed a sidewall bulge. The second one also allowed the wheel to crack! They are noisy and their performance is below average for a tire of this cost. I am replacing all four on Wednesday with either a BF Goodrich g-Force T/A or Bridgestone Potenza S03.

Sidewalls are paper thin. I've had 3 blowouts in one year
TONS more where that came from.

Every item has critics unfortunately and after looking into these, I bought them anyways, as any newer reviews are fine.

1000 for fk452? I suggest you check out 1010tires.com, I just added 4 255/40/17's in my car shipped for $760. They rule, based in Vancouver.

Ya, I bought 4 Falkens as well last week for $58 each locally. 185/60/14 for the Wife's fucking Aveo5........

Trust me, if I could buy Falkens for $600 in THE SIZE I NEED, I wouldn't have bothered with these.
