Default Re: Engine Build Database

Not finished yet....expecting 550whp-ish at 9000 with a twinscroll GT4088

Engine Shortblock Build:

Block: OEM (60,000k)
Crankshaft: Same as above
Rods & Bolts: Manley I beams (ARP2000's I think)
Pistons & Pins: CP 8.5
Main Bearings: ACL
Rod Bearings: ACL
Oil Pump: External Moroso 22600
Water Pump: N1
Harmonic Balancer: ATI 1000hp
Main/Head Fasteners: ARP studs on head (OEM main bolts)
Torque Plate Honing: (Y or N) Don't know....probably not
SPECIAL PREP NOTES:

Cylinder Head Build:

Head: OEM, Tomei 1.2mm gasket
Camshafts: Procams 270/10.8 in and ex (with Tomei lifters)
Cam Gears: OEM at the moment
Timing Belt: GReddy
Valves: OEM, HKS seals
Valve Springs: Manley
Spring Retainers: Manley
Fasteners/Bolts: Tomei cam cap studs
SPECIAL PREP NOTES: Original valve seat eccentrics were forcefully changed with the installation of new valve guides, concequently some valves on my intake side need custom shims on the thin side.
OEM oil pump casing is being used for the pickup (and because it contains the front main seal). Freeze plug removed from the suction side, aluminum coupling welded in place, and the suction port going to the OEM gear pump welded shut.
Head ground down to make clearance for high lift cams. Not very much material has to be removed for 10.8mm
