Sorry for the 20 questions here.....lol

Is there anything preventing it from being a 4WD car again ? Any reason why the previous 2 owners did not make it 4WD again ?

It sure can go back to AWD
Im pretty sure its just the gears in the Front diff that are missing
TIMO (previous owner) had all the parts lined up to go AWD. THen he sold it to me
I haven done it because I am also selling
I think he was getting the parts through Darrel or Feast.
Either way it's not a big issue.

I've always wondered what the issue is with the rims
Isnt the issue regarding AWD just that the Diameter of the tires has to be the same front and back?
aka of the rear tires are 35 and the fronts are 45 then hicas thinks the back is having wheels spin or something?
I was under the impression that the rims are not the issue its the sizing of the tires.

you are actually correct it IS the overall diameter of the tires that is the factor. But even if you put identical sized tires on 2 different widths of rim you will have a different overall diameter. The wider rim is going to stretch out the tire more giving it a smaller rolling diameter than the tire on the narrower rim.

ok, well that still leaves me a little bit confused.
The "stretch" should be the same as the front's as long as you "properly" fit both tires.
I understand why the rear tire would stretch the tire more then the front but thats only if I put 275's front and back
Right now I have 275's in the front and 295's out back.
I would have to take a closer look to see what needs to be adjusted for both of those to fit their respective rims the same but I dont yet see why AWD is un-doable
Here is the xs car. Same kit w/ staggard wheels and AWD
look at their tire sizes 305/30 and 335.30

Well, regardless, you should just let Ben sell the car for you, because it must be embarrasing enough to have one of the nicest cars around....and not only, know very little about it, but have nothing to do with it's build and therefore really unable to answer any real questions about it, with any certainty anyways.
