View Full Version : FAST Wont load

Hi All, new to the forum.
I have an issue with FAST,which I downloaded from this forum.
FAST will not open.
I get a message "run time error'70': path not found.
I have been through the down load instructions three times and even uninstalled the program and reinstalled still to no avail.
Any suggestions please.

what operating software are you using.
and you are on a 32 bit?

Hi , Using window XP Media edition with service pack 3.

you have installed the .net framework?

Make sure and go to Windows or Microsoft Update and get EVERY .net Framework package, as they are not the same and having 3.5 doesn't mean that you have what's required to run .net 2.0 applications ;)

Hi Allan,Thank you for your reply, yes I have net framework 1.1 , 2.0 , 3.0 and 3.5.
These were all on the pc before I installed the Fast program.
If I run the program I am now geting this error message.
Run-time error '70': permission denied.?????

Did you copy NSFASTKY.INI to your WINDOWS Folder ? and change permissions on the file ? (UN-CHECK the 'READ-ONLY box, right click, choose properties) ? ?

Just in case......

Step 1: Extract "setup.rar" with the program of your choice.
Step 2: Run "setup.exe" found within the above .rar file. Install to c:\NISSAN
Step 3: Click through all the prompts, click ok when "windows-FAST SETUP MENU" appears. We will load the CD's later.
Step 4: Copy NSFASTKY.INI into your c:\WINDOWS folder. Right click NSFASTKY.INI and go to properties and make sure the read only box is NOT selected.

Followed the steps exactly and I have just rechecked again ,NSFASTKY.INI properties and the read only box is NOT selected.( as previously).
Still no access.????????????????

Where is FAST installed on your PC ? (give complete path, ie. C:\NISSAN etc.)
