rusted oilpump bolts, replacment 8.8 sufficent?

i am reusing most bolts from my original rb26 to build my new engine. some of my original oil pump bolts are quite corroded. most OE oil pump fasteners say "9B" any idea as to their grade. I found some 8.8 nickel plated replacements but am wondering if they are strong enough.

9b is like 9.8

you would get away with 8.8 but it would be a downgrade.
10.9 would be nice, I actually used stainless A2 socket caps which are roughly between 8.8 and 10.9 in tensile strength.
