Hello,
I noticed today (its probably been this way for a while) that my ride height at the rear is off by 1/2". The front is spot on but the back isn't. The engine is out of the car but I doubt that causing issues since the its the rear not the front. Is there a proper way to see whats wrong?
I keep finding things that need to be fixed, its starting to get old  I dunno what to do.

do you have aftermarket suspension?
and which side is lower?

Yea, NPG Bridgestone Coilovers (pre-load adjustable, gas-filed).
The drivers side is lower. The drivers side on a right hand driver car.

Put the engine back in then check. Front diff and tranfser case are both over to that side. Could effect it more than you think.
Always set ride height and corner weights with the driver in the car with an appropriate fuel load. Your measurements right now are meaningless with the bits missing out of the engine bay.
You adjust ride height with the threaded collars on your coil spring perches. (Move the lower spring perch up to raise ride height, and lower perch to lower ride height).

The transfer case is on the car with the tranny currently. I'm thinking the engine isn't really affecting anything because the engine is out of the car and the ride height at the front of the car is spot on (they are both exactly at the same height).

As it has been said don't make adjustments until you have a load of fuel+engine and everything back in the car. Do it once and forget about it.

I agree also but I did lift the car and then measure the rear droop, the passenger side has about an 1/8" more droop then the drivers side. I never had coilovers before but it makes sense to me that if you have a pre-load adjustable coilover they should be at the same level when the car is lifted. It's only an 1/8" of an inch might be more like 1/10". Anyways I'm just freaking out cause my build is finally coming to some sort of end, and I'm starting to worry about other things.

when everything is back together sit in the car and have someone else measure. I bet it's even then.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but your droop should be measured with sway bars+coils out. No?
Mitch32, I wouldn't worry about minor things right now anyway, whenever you raise/lower a car if effects your alignment so you will probably end up making a trip to the alignment shop soon anyway if you just installed coils and are dropping down.

I understand, just I'm worrying about the small things now. The build continues.... Hopefully no other issues (this one really isn't an issue, just something I was worried about).
I was planning on getting an alignment anyways.
Thanks
