I emailed them a couple nights ago and asked if they could get some Superior Seat Covers etc for BNR32 as there is only 1 other online store that I know of that carries them, unfortunately, they are somewhat pricey.

I am putting my order through as I finish writing this.

My RHDJapan Order:
-------------------
- Superior Black Carbon Seat Covers, Full Set (Front & Rears).
- Matching Front Door Panels
-------------------
$1135 CAD shipped to my door, 3-5 Day Express EMS.
(after multiple product discount and USD-to-CAD conversion through Paypal).

Also, just another heads up for Canadians: It's cheaper to CHECKOUT in USD from RHDJapan if you are Canadian, Pay using Paypal (no fees unlike they charge for credit card....weird/backwards compared to anyone else.... I know), then allow Paypal to do the conversion. It saved me an additional $30+ in the end, as I tried both ways......lol

....just thought that might interest some people.

RHDJapan are also going to carry the full line in the future, so just fire off an email if you can't see what you are lloking for on their site.

Check out Superior's site here: http://www.superior-cia.com/ or http://translate.google.com/translate?js=y&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&u=http://www.superior-cia.com/

Just put the following in front of any URL to go from JP to ENG:
http://translate.google.com/translate?js=y&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&u=

Basically, I have been looking into having my seats (f & r, even though rears are a waste) re-done at a local upholstery shop and for the price, this is leaps-and-bounds CHEAPER and I would venture to say, similar quality...and even if not, it's good enough fora street car/daily driver. For what I paid, had I done this localy, the money would have barely covered F & R Seats. It's like getting a decent discount, then also getting matching Door Panels for free.

Cheers,
Allan

so those seat covers, you need to take them to an upholstery shop to get them put on?

same with door panels?

That was in the form of a question. How do they go on tight without a shop doing them?

I think just using the 'garbage bag' trick and sliding them on......atleast I hope it's that easy...lol

I have the front ones in my car and yes they just slip over and then everything velcros and zips tight. I love mine but the red stitching appears to be wearing very quickly.

1135 will get you two knock off brides:p
but you wont see me putting my ass in any of those.

I'm sure an upholstery shop would redo two seats for less then this though.

I actually bought mine really cheap...so I got lucky. A guy in the US bought them brand new and decided to run racing seats instead. Unfortunately it was only the fronts but for $370 USD they were well worth it. The $1100 dollar price is for fronts and rear seats not just the fronts.

Not that I'm cheap, but man, 865$ for seat covers, that better be top quality shyte.

They do look nice in the pictures, but before I'd buy anything like that I'd want to see them in person first.

Not that I'm cheap, but man, 865$ for seat covers......

When it comes to Superior Seat Covers, the first thing you must do is quit thinking of them as simply seat covers. They are in a league of their own and are 'Seat upholstery'.

For a BNR32 owner who has both of their front OEM seats, recovering with the Superior product will yeild the best result you can possibly get for $900 CAD or so ($900 does Fronts and Rears).......

In the aftermarket seat 'market', $900 won't get you very far in terms of quality compared to OEM BNR32 seats and even if you manage to find a PAIR, you will be stuck with unmatched/ugly interior, as the rears (even though gratuitous at best) won't match.

I also doubt any DECENT upholstery shop will do Fronts and Rears for $900 CAD that would even come close to the Superior Products.

...but like I said, the 'DEAL' depends on you having BOTH of your OEM BNR32 Front Seats still.....and from what I have seen, most cars coming off the boat do not, as those crazy Japs like to throw in a Driver's seat that's all 'racy' and leave the passenger's seat as OEM.......F#CKING GAY.

This is the BEST Deal going....if you do the math ;)

Cheers,
Allan.

Fair enough, explained like that it does sound like a good deal. How much do OEM seats go for these days? I've seen some go for 350-400 and they were pretty beaten up.

Yeah I agree, solo driver seats are uber gay. In my case, the car came with 2 UNMATCHED recaros....

At least they look *almost* identical, but I mean, come on, couldn't he have went through the effort of getting identical seats! ;)

Looks something like that:

Not those exact seats, but you get the picture...lol

That very common because the ladies don't often like fixed back buckets. It is a sure way to 9 out of 10 not get laid.

My car came with unmatched seats as well, but had OEM passenger's seat still atleast.

I bought a beat-up and slightly ripped Driver's OEM seat for $100 knowing that it didn't matter what it looked like underneath, as long as it bolted in and was half decent, I could work a little magic before recovering them.... as I was going to re-padd (for a better personalized fit) before I recover anyways.

Aren't BNR32 OEM seats made by Recaro anyways ?

100$, that's pretty good. So for around 1000$ you end up with brand new looking and matching front/rear seats. Pretty good. I really love the fact that it's matching front/rear.

Keep us updated and post pics once you finish them!!
