Favorite: R33 or R34?

Ok so if i put R32 in everyone would choose that so im doing it this way, im curious cuz people call R33's whales and such lol i know its all in good fun though :D

The factory race machines got the records, not OEM mass produced models. All they share is the chassis "code" when they aren't even the same cars ;)

I wouldn't buy a car just for their "records". More of personal preference and value for what you pay.

You have to admit the 34's display is pretty cool.

you can stick a display like that in anything. Personally I think the mfd in the r34 is a waste of space.

The r34's are ugly, they have nice seats but that's all I can say about them. kpgc10 is the hottest car nissan has ever made, shortly followed by the bnr32, they shared many lines. This is just how my brain is wired, not to say the r34 is a bad car or anything.

R33 GTRs are one of the best looking cars you could own if done right. R34s just dont do it for me.

For me the R32 is pretty much held back by its dated interior and thats where its loosing the battle between the R33 and R32. R34, yes it has nice seats and a over rated screen but the body is not clean enough looking to me. Just the same for the S chassis cars. S14 V.2 FTW

true but I am not biased. R33 body line isn't on roids, it's plump for sure.

Interior wise, I'd have to go: R34 -> R33 -> R32. Obviously as interior/plastic technology improved with time.

Exterior for me, the 34 takes it, followed by 32. I've seen very nice BCNR33 on net and in person, but for me, the 34 or 32 cannot go wrong with stock body styling.

It all comes down to personal preference, which I stress strongly for this thread.

The R34 tail light is a turn-on for me. I can see how someone may not like it, but I do not understand where you are coming from with the "R35 having the regular ones" It looks have taken the 34's traits right down.

R34GTR looks like a repackaged R33GTR with different outer skin, shortened wheelbase, etc (similar looking front strut towers, etc). Most Nismo options for R33GTR were standard on R34GTR like undertrays, etc.

R33GTR had a early version of MFD (I think was the Lemans spec R33GTR), but was mounted between rpm, speedo. R34GTR was on top of dash.

Some say R33GTR was a sidestep. R34GTR was a attempt to capture the R32GTR feel, handling with shorter wheelbase, etc. But improve on it.

Don't get me wrong, I love both. But as soon as you hit a corner in that R33, you can feel it's fat.

I'm more of a comfort kind of guy... I think I would end up in an R34 if I was still in the Skyline scene when they became available... or maybe I will buy one when they do. The interior is much nicer and modern than the R32... R33. As a DD that might occasionally see the track, R34>all. A track BNR would obviously be R32.

I almost bought an R33 when I was buying my car... Liked that the interior was a bit more modern etc, but in the end I'd rather have a nice looking R32 with a "meh" interior than a car I didn't particularly enjoy exterior wise with a slightly better interior.

To each their own. I probably won't own an R34 until it becomes part of my "collection" (a man can dream, but I'm planning).

I was merely comparing the R32 and R33 in interiors (as when I was buying). I agree the R32 interior is nicer than a lot of other cars similar age, or newer, that I've been in.

It's nothing special, but it could be worse.

I completely agree. I also think a stock R33 looks too much like a 240sx. That being said a girl I ride with thought my R32 was a Prelude... I punched her in the face.
Maybe I'm not the GTR Connoisseur that McFly might be (I've had mine for less than 6 months) but I really think R32 and R34 are the toughest looking and the R33, although can look awesome, shares too many common lines with the 240.

Purely based on looks, the r34 is my fav. Especially with a Z-tune body kit, blacked out, DAMN it's something of pure evil. The r33 can be made to look good, but it takes a lot of work and tasteful selection of body work. Even then, the rear end of the car leaves a very "blah" taste in my mouth, just because it's so bulbous and unshapely. In stock form, the car is very reminiscent of a Maxima too. Don't deny it, you know it's true.
