That 10sec video is impresive !
This thing launches like a rocket and makes that poor Dodge look like 'Grandma' was driving it.
Very nice example of a stroker ;)

And allan has gone to stroke it, dreaming of a stroker lol. Very nice vid indeed and I love the sleeper look stock rims nothing too flashy just whip your ass fast lol.
Are you reaching into the piggy bank for a $4 thousand dollar crank yet allan?

For me, that is the ideal RB26 build. That is EXACTLY the powerband I'm looking for. Good job man, really impressive.

I dream of 1 every day......unfortunately, I am still cheap......lol
If I could get a crank for $2500 CAD, I would be all over it in a heartbeat. $5000 CAD is a little out of reach I think, as I still have tons of other stuff to work on as well.
Oh well......dare to dream....lol

Anyways, back on topic.....
I would LOVE to see this car/motor running a pair of 2871's (the 'dash-10' turbos rather than current 'dash-5') and a set of 10.5 or 10.8 lift Pro cams @ 272-280 duration.........
9 sec/750 WHP Daily Driver ? .....lol
I would say it's pretty close right now, those 2 improvements would definately push it over the top I think.
Still, wicked car none the less. Good luck trying for 9's ;)
Allan.

Nope, I believe you are correct. Now get out there and drive a '9 sec backup' ;)

I just notived the new VIDs under your Youtube profile......
Looks like you are legit !
The backup run of 9.97@141 ;)
Aside from the little bog at the start, that run should have been a 9.8 @ 141.......
VERY IMPRESSIVE.
Time for more questions......
How were the 60ft times in comparison between the 9.96 and the faster 9.97 runs ?
Also, are both these runs on Pump Gas ? or Racing Fuel ?
Are you running a Roll Cage ? (if not, did the track kick you off till you can pass inspection for a sub-10sec run ?)

that's just amazing. I really think this is canada's fastest gtr. well done man, im at a loss of words.

I just noticed something after reading you car info over 10 times.....
YOU ARE RUNNING AN N1 PUMP
OMFG. Aren't you a little worried ? I can understand a stock-ish build. But, a STROKER that uses an N1 Pump and Drag Races ?.......
"9 Sec Stroker R32 GTR that uses N1 Oil Pump"
That is pure luck I guess......lol
mcfly

a n1 pump, not a
nothing wrong with a n1 oil pump, its fine so long as you don't hit rev limiters with it.
congrats on the times ;)

I think it's just a question of bad vibrations that kill oil pump.
clutch, flywheel and crankshaft has been balanced together.
And an ATI race damper is not an option.
I hit the rev limiter frequently and I launch on the rev limiter.
Now 2 years on that setup, on the track and on the street, approximatively 10,000KMS, 90% of the time at WOT and hitting the rev limiter... at 8800RPM.
Luck...? not sure
Wow! am I a "myth buster" ! lol
Allan here's 2 time slip: #32

Either way you are doing it and its working haha.

Wait a sec.....
What Rev Limiter are you launching off ? and what RPM ?
The reason I ask, is, because I think you ARE officially a 'Myth Buster" or freak of nature......lol
Launching off the PFC Fuel-Cut@8800, running an N1 Oil Pump...........DAMN......lol

I think that deserves an award lol or at least a sticker RH9 lol
Now you just gotta get yourself onto pinks all out so you don't have to worry about losing the car

What tires are you running for those 9 sec passes? I noticed you are running a few differnt sets in the youtube videos.
Also, why doesn't your tq/hp crossover at 5252? Is the HP ATW and the torque estimated flywheel tq?

I'm running Mickey Thompson E.T street tires 26x10.5 on stock gtr's rims
Yeah it's the estimated flywheel tq

nice tires, if you start breaking things go to a bias ply. those radials are terrible shockers on launch.

Torque is (always) measured...maybe they estimated the HP...

Either way, Dynapack has got to have one of the UGLIEST Print outs I have ever seen (along with whatever all those crazy Aussies are using....the multi-colour-side-by-side print out ? you know what I mean ?)......Gimme an old-ass NO COLOUR Mustang Dyno print out any day.
Something just seems a little weird with that print out anyways, as the TQ comes in WAY late for a 2.8L Stroker w/2860-5 turbos...like about 1250 RPM or so LATE. That TQ curve should flatten out @ 3500 RPM (long before 4750 RPM), otherwise, what was the point in stroking it ?
Hopefully it's a bullshit print out and the actual driving experience is accurate.

Don't get fooled by this graph guys, I'm pretty sure this is just the scaling of the graph that was changed to obtain a best picturial result. When you change the scaling it tend to shift the ''5252'' factor a little bit.
P.S. this is what Robin did with my graph!

Fair enough. Let's hope that is it.
In the real world thankfully, the car is a monster, as it has the 9sec time slips to prove it ;)

they cross at 5252 and have the same scale. Graph is standard :p
