now i have watched some videos with ppg boxes that are quite the opposite of this. That almost sounds like the helical box even.
No where near as whiny as many of the other vids.

Sounds pretty clean to me but it seems like he was shifting into way high gears all the time to keep it sounding that way or something. Why be in 4th all the time?

Cool vid, he did a lot of flat shifting to show how it worked for a DD at reg/low RPMS
not as whiney as I would of thought too

I'm pretty sure they offer dog engagement with helical or straight cut gears. Would explain why it was so quiet.

I don't think those are stright cut. Helical cut I'd say. Sounds like stock gearbox

Their helica gears are cut a little straighter than the stock ones, so you will get some whine out of them. If my tranny sounded like that I would be getting worried.

This has more streetablility then I thought...Would probably do this over the OS giken set!
