Yeah I was wondering why no one even tried to say anything. There was atleast 2 other people outside the car and both of them waited for him to be done to say anything about the failure behind the wheel.. Atleast try to look like you care about a guys ~$90k car

Haha I bet it was a shop who had someones car in getting the tires replaced. Imagine explaining that one to your customer:

"Yea... about your car. We decided to make a youtube video to extend our e-penis' in this time of my midlife crisis, saying we were about to burn off $600 worth of tires to make it look like money aint a thang. Too bad it is, and we've burnt out your clutch. We've ordered the part but knowing Chevy it's on backorder and won't get in til Friday morning. So I guess what I'm saying is when I told you to come back in an hour and we'll have the tires done... I was lying."

And I think the camera guy thought the passenger tire was spinning at first (where the smoke was coming from) so he walked around, then saw it had stopped, the car lurched forward a bit, smoke shifted to the other side, and I think he thought the other tire was spinning and walked back over. If he didn't recognize the smell of a burning clutch he likely didn't think about the rear diff in those cars... Giving that they hit the trunk release first only reaffirms that it likely wasn't there car...

yeah the c5 and c6's are transaxle apparently
