Parking lights..

So, me and my friend are just setting up a hamsar Day Time Running Lights kit to get his skyline safetied, but we found out the front parking lights don't turn on with the headlights. The rear taillights do, just not the front ones. We tested the power going to the lights and everything is fine. So, I'm thinking it's a switch, can anyone confirm this and if possible someone provide a wiring diagram for this? Thanks!

not entirely sure what you are talking about, but try downloading this service manual:

the electric systems start on about page 777... i assume the headlight circuits would be the same or similar in a gtr and gts-t.

I dont have legitimate daytime lights on my car, but i would imagine there are numerous ways somebody could do this.. such as get power from an "ignition" source and run it direct to the headlights. At least until it gets passed. Just an idea...:eek:
