Jon from Kamloops BC, 1990 GTR white, built by Infini in Japan for nothing but drag racing.

I'm Dragon Humper on GTRC. I might reduce my name to Dragon or change it to this one, the wife still doesn't like that name......LOL.

I'm old, at least McFly thinks so....LOL. I've loved retarded power all my life and still can't believe how much thrust my T-88 powered GTR makes. I have opinions (don't we all) but am always open to new ideas and have a memory like a goldfish (always have) so my details are sometimes a bit lacking but concepts never leave me. Hope I can contribute......

My name is Mike, I have two automotive loves in life, Nissans and VW's.

I had a 240sx as my first real car, and have always wanted a GTR. Now I have the money and am on the hunt for a nice R32 GTR. I have found some candidates so far, but I am looking around to get a good technical background on BNR's before I snag one! your download section is wicked, such an awesome resource!

Currently I am saddled in a VW' that probably wouldn't get attention on here lol, its half GLI half GTI and spins a piddly 200 whp from a strung out VR6. :P None the less, its my daily.

Nissans are quite common, more so than most. Most sports cars are modded from Japan. Very few come stock. Will get some pics up of both cars when I get a chance. Never knew the site existed until a couple days ago. Good stuff.

Have had my GTR for 4 years now and many years of 450+ whp have taken their toll on the IHI turbos that are on there now. Will upgrade to 2860-5 this winter and rebuild her while I'm at it.

I have to say, this forum is *excellent*. Mods, if you can, please keep the current quality level if you can, it definitely beats the *other* forum hands down.

Thanks Allan, this looks like a very friendly place so far.. No, the bumper is sitting on the shelf in my garage still. I just spent about $6K on the car today, so I'm not sure if it will get mounted this year or not. The body work and paint might have to wait one more year.

Hi all

My name is Mike, Im from Vancouver and I drive a Type M

Been into performance cars / 4x4's since I was 16, I worked at a performance shop building street and rally cars for a number of years that was great fun. Moved on to importing JDM and Euro vehicles for a few years until the gov started jerking the rules around and made everyone paranoid. Either way it was a blast to own drive and fixup just about every turbo model they produced, of course I kept the one I liked the most..... the Type M

Any ways been following Mcflys blog for years ..... glad he took it to the next level

I worked at a place called Total Motors Group in Vancouver, it was a wicked place to work. We built some cool rally / street cars and specialized in Subaru’s. I was the Performance parts guy there and got to order and round up all sorts of wicked parts for different builds. Its been closed for a few years now, the owner and his partner had some differences and went there own ways, it was a bummer I liked that place

My names Andrew and I used to have a Skyline until I sold it a roughly a year and a half ago. It was an 89' GTS T Type M, basically stock except for some Volk rims. It was a really great car, and had a total blast with it. I had a chance to get the FD and took it, but it was a really tough call. I drive a R32 4door IMPUL edition, black. One of 200 hundred produced, so while its not a tire-shredding monster, its still kinna special. Mods list longer than my arm, but engine is old and tired. Located in Edmonton. I don't talk much, unless I have something useful to add. Mostly just lurk and learn.

I love my skyline, but I hate having no torque down low. Would love to drop in a 2.5 or even better, an RB30. I have the funds, but no garage.

well seeing as the first 32's were made in 89 and the r31 was the preceeding model was the 31

it could also have an rb30 as adm 31's were made up until 90 i think

plus its a gts which was tuned by gibson motorsport in melbourne and recieved exhaust port polishing, stainless hedders, bigger cam and ecu tweak - gts2's came with about 130kw

plus its a gts which was tuned by gibson motorsport in melbourne and recieved exhaust port polishing, stainless hedders, bigger cam and ecu tweak - gts2's came with about 130kw

In Australia as mentioned above Gibson motorsport put together 200 series 2 1988 models to create the GTS1 these were rb30 130kw all 5 speed manual & all in white including the wheels , the Tasmanian Police force had 8 of these if memory serves i have had the pleasure of owning 1 of these build # 94 as each vehicle including the GTS2's are individually numbered, getting back to my now laying dorment GTS2 these again were 200 series 3 1989 these are know by the Aussie public as GTS2's (& again the Tassie police had 8 although they were all white,) even though Nissan dealers/spare parts guys call them gts3's , as there was such an up roar with the building of 200 GTS1's all being manual the GTS2 came 106 auto & 94 manual ( i am going by memory here so some facts may be incorrect maybe some one here has written information regarding these vehicles ) the engine is as was the GTS1 the rb30 with 142kw, the auto's came with the 300zx transmission or at least so i was advised as the r31 service manual description of the trans didnt match that of what was in the car, they are licenced to only carry 4 adults as the rear seats sunk where you plant your bum giving the centre of the rear seat a high point, getting back to mine oh something else to add both model GTS1 & 2's came with the Jap Spec r31 turbo front callipers & rotors /struts. My GTS2 originally belonged to the Australian Formula 1 group ( 1989 ) i am now the 3rd owner , as my gts has been locked up in my shed for 6 years i dont have any current photo's of it nor can i find any at this time i will put up photo's when available.

i was trying to find the perfect forum to start my build thread on and this seems like it, the wealth of knowledge and amazing cars is perfect, i have over 200 pics of my progress on it so far and i'll start one someday but its no fun seeing a build thread not done and no progress on it (especially when im back in AB in a few weeks and the cars in the garage 5000kms away)

Your build is legendary on GTRPWR Allan.
It's nothing more than a pile of words that make up a sexy parts list.......unfortunately THAT does not a good build thread, but I appreciate the thumbs up ;)

I am going to buy a new camera for when I REALLY start on it. I really DO want to document it as much as possible.
For what it's costing me, I should get ALL of my money's worth out of it....lol

I myself am more interested in seeing the GTiR buid. The thought of a 400HP pint sized AWD car get's me excited.
