View Full Version : RB25 intake manifold swap

so as soon as it arrives, i will be swapping my intake manifold for a side mount one
just wanna know if theres anything else than what ive got that i should get
for this ive picked up:
manifold with TB adaptor
fmic + piping kit
new gasket
also not reltated will do spark plugs as im getting an occasional misfire

the fuel injectors do that crazy side feed thing on the rb25 and I am not a fan of it

yea morris tuning from new york is coming in march so if i get my parts and have it done i can get a solid tune from him, i need to go standalone fast tho haha
hopefully save up for power fc

and im eventually gonna be going top feed injectors...thats next build though

Whats the advantage to the side feeds? Like why did Nissan change to side feed on the RB25?

Don't forget the heater hose you'll need for the AAC. You will also need a fitting on your intercooler piping (somewhere before t/b) to run this hose to.
In hindsight I wish I would have made a blockoff plate for the AAC and threw it in the garbage as I went standalone. But whatever.
