Well, I caved and bought one of these:
(Brand New$725 USD Shipped, how could I not?)

I still however have my heart set on using an Air Box, be it, OEM or even an ARC if I can find a decent deal on one.......as I would rather NOT use open filters and suck hot air all day long. A mod'd box, that took in air from the fender would be ideal.

Something like this:

I can join the Greddy hard piping to the air box using the MAF adapters that came with the Greddy Kit and this:

Now, I could go this route, but I would rather not:

IDEAS ?

Hell yeah greddy suction brothers! That sounded gay.

Anyway I dunno what you should do. It looks like in the picture he is using those silicone pipe on the STOCK mafs(or are they 300zx)?? That would save me buying new couplers. I'll try that tonight.

Another idea, would maybe do up a custom sheet metal intake box like something from a motorbike/ATV ?

A pair of Cone Filters inside a box of their own with more ducting outside somewhere ?

Even something like this that used a single common bottom feed suct for fresh air ?
Obviously the intake points would need to be a little different to accomodate, but the flexible tubing could be used to connect everything again.
This would essentially just be using this in reverse...the bottom carb flange would have the fresh air intake piping attached and each intake pipe would attach to one of the side ports.

I see so many supra's with custom headlights with the foglight(?) taken out on the turbo side and a intake through there. That's my vote. Seeing a car in your rear view with that = badass. Functionality....pfffft.

However what was just posted...very interesting.
