Everyone, I have a getrag 6 speed attached to the BNR34 engine. I am trying to remove the transmission from the engine in order to make things more moveable in the garage and to check the clutch condition before I start my 6 speed conversion to my BNR32. I have removed all the bell housing bolts but the transmission will not seperate. I have read on other forums about a clip that must be removed from the throwout bearing...I do not see it. I have not been able to find a parts breakdown diagram either. Anybody ever removed a GTR34 transmission before? I could use some pointers.

If the R34 getrag bellhousing is anything like a Supra, you'll have to remove an inspection cover on the housing, and remove all the pressure plate bolts from the flywheel before the tranny will un-mate.
Might not be the same, I dunno.

No inspection cover. I wish it was as easy as a Supra.

Might be helpful:

And this shows what can go wrong if you don't know what you're doing:

Geofree. Thanks for the link with pics. I have seen that clip when I was peering thru the clutch arm hole. I will give it another shot hopefully this week. Currently the engine and trans are sitting on a pallet in my garage.
