I just dropped in my block and head (rb26) this week .I installed the cams today ,set them to tdc and when I went to spin the crank to line it up with the oil pump mark, it spun for 1/4 of rotation then it just jammed...it woulnt turn over anymore.

What could possibly cause this?
the car was out of gear , could it somehow be piston contact with the head/valves...

when the block was in without the head ,it spun easily so thats why im thinking its the head.

specs:rebuilt bottom end , 87mm cp pistons,eagle rods etc..Head was mildly ported,new guides,springs,seals ,poncams and oem valves.

need help asap !
