RB25DE, RB25DET
RB26DETT
VG20E, VG20ET
VG30E, VG30ET
VG33E
VG30DE, VG30DET, VG30DETT

Nismo thermostat is a bad idea. An engine needs heat to run and fire properly.

Oh damn. I was just reading all the sales points on them and they said a NISMO unit will allow you engine to run better and for a longer period of time.. must not listen to salesmen... lol
Would there ever be an advantage to a NISMO unit?
Will just get a new OEM then..
Thanks guys

I think Mcfly is referring to to issues surrounding cold enrichment. The nismo thermostat doesn't let the oem ecu see that the engine has "warmed up" and will always be adding a bit more fuel to the mix.
maybe that's why he said that

Its getting a a Nistune setup shortly after the engine is back together(after break in) so would I be able to tune the Nistune for the NISMO thermostat to work properly with my engine setup?

With what rb racer said, that is correct.
My justification is that formula 1 cars don't run below 80c,
