Anyone using this or have experience with it? It's not the route I was planning but it was far to good of a deal to pass up.
Now just looking for some insight. i've found all the typical "go to" stuff on line but any other insight would be appreciated.

I love the PFC itself and have only used datalogit once.
It is getting quite old though when you compare it to the other ecu's on the market. what are you plans for it? The pfc unfortunately does have some limitations.

Plans are simple and in no particular order. 650cc injectors, R32 Mafs (which I already have), better exhaust breathing, cams, and at some point bigger snails of course. I'm not sure what I have for turbos now as I've been told they take too long to spool down after the car is shut off to be stock (ball bearing turbos perhaps?) Plus the usual reliability improvements.
I figured up to a few years ago some of the strongest GTRs were using the PFC so it's probably good enough for me. Plus there is LOTS of support. I'll also be downloading "CoPilot".
I thought were there is no tuner I could take my car to here the dataloggit will allow me to send my maps/logged runs off to someone, have changes made and then load the improvements and do another run until everything is tuned safely and properly.
I do have access to a 2wd Mustang Dyno aswell. Rumour has it another local guy has a Dynopac on it's way.

In that case you wont be disappointed with the pfc. It fits your needs so long as you have a tuner.
The only issue I can see you running into is maxing out the r32 mafs as I remember mine were very near done at 450 wheel.

I see I put that I have "R32" MAFs. I meant that I've got "Z32" MAFs.
I'm not sure how much more they can handle but they should be more than enough.

PFC with datalogit is proven. I personally hate using a PFC without the datalogit.
Though as already stated, the PFC is old. Compared to new ECU's it lacks features. But that doesn't go to say it is not good...because by the sounds of it, I see it being exactly what you need.

:)
Eric from XS has done over 1k rwhp on a pfc. There are still powerful units.

^^^ you can probably integrate whatever you would like. Apexi has gauge sets aswell if memory serves.
I'm having issues with idle hunting. I performed the 10-10-10 minute idle self learn but it still hunts after.
It will idle fine, touch the gas and it will hunt several times then settle. Also if I turn on the AC or defroster it will stop hunting.
I'm thinking there is something that has to be done to "save" the idle set up.
Thoughts?
