2008: RB26 freshly rebuilt was swap in the car ... and blew 1 month later :S
did not used the car for the rest of the year ...

09 was the big year !!!

i took the rb26 out ... found out what was my problem !!! wiring harness problem (ALT.) and a fulty FPR , i had to much fuel pressure and washed the cylinders ...

source a r32 block and rebuilt it to new !!!

what is planed for this winter ...changes my spring rate on my coilover / rear suspension arms / single turbo conversion gt30 or 35 / cams / finish installing my new intercooler oh and put my rear over fenders on !!!!

my alignment for the track ... that's what i will star with and adjust after if i need to !!!
front camber : -2.5
front caster : +8

rear camber : -1
rear toe : stock spec
rear caster : stock spec


i think i have 1 feet of piping on each side !!!
2x 8 inch push type fans on the intercooler and 1x 10 inch pull type on the rad !!!

my car is back on track with new suspension parts and new body kit ... i had to change my front bumper that was destroid ... so sold the rest of my kit to a friend and bought a complet D-max Type#3 with Over fenders !!!

i just got the car aligned today .... i was prety off with my home made instalation of my new toe-arm ... i guess my eyes are not an alignement machine ! XD

spec:
front - caster : +8
- camber : -2.5 (will adjust a the track if i need more !!!)
- toe : 0

rear - camber : -0.5
- toe : stock(+0.08 i think)
- caster : stock


next track day is next wednesday at st-eutsache !!! we are renting the track in the after noon !!! if some of you guys are local come have a look !!!

the car is under the knife for the past week now !!! its at my sponsor shop up here in MTL ... AV Fab
striping the car completly , make a cage , tube front , single turbo conversion , downpipe


the car got there and strip from its bodykit avec interior in around 2 hours :P

then to remove the OEM sound deadening we used dry ice ...

let it on the area you want to remove the sound deadening for around 10 to 15min depending on how big it is !
on top of the dry ice i was puting a garbage bag juste to keep de air from hiting on the dry ice ... when the time as come switch the ice to the next area you want to work and let it sit for an other 15min ... by the time it freeze you will have time to remove the sound deadening from the last spot

just hit it with an hammer and it shoud come out ... if the hammer is not enough juste use a pry bar ou screewdriver and pry it up abit

for your info 25lbs bag of dry ice was 32$ at Praxair here in MTL

after that all the sound deadening was out ... we started on the cage
here is a couple pics of the cage inside the car . im realy happy with the result ... the cage is realy tite and i have almost the same vision when in the driver seat !!

(on the last pic here you can see Mitch32 on the top right :P that is helping out)

we had trouble with our notcher ... so we decided to start on the tube front and wait for monday to finish the cage !!
the fisrt inch in my mint front end was abit hard but after that it was all good :P

i test fited the Dash in the car ... had to cut abit cause of the cage but its not that bad !!!

we decided to cancel all the front windows ... cut the inner door to reduce de weight of the car !!! we took out 30lbs in each door atleas

took the RB out of the engine bay to clean everything for the paint that is coming friday or next week !!! depend on how bizy the paint shop is
to clean the interior of the car i used paint tinner and it took a hole day to get everything of the metal ... my friend came by the shop with a product that he sale for plane maintenance .... its the **** !!! took 1 hour to clean my car cause the tinner wasn't good enought ...

(if some of you guys would want some (the product to remove de glew on the floor .... PM me i will get you in contact with my friend)

now for the engine ... it's on the engine stand ... waiting for parts from one of our sponsor BC (cams 272* and valves springs/retainers) and i need to make my mind on the turbo im gonna used .... now im looking into the BW EFR with the BOV / waste gate and Boost controle intergrated .... compare to a Precision that i need to buy 1 or 2 wastegate and a boost controler
