View Full Version : IACV voltage?
Just testing my IACV while it's off the car to see if the solenoid opens/closes properly still.
It looks clean (after 8000KM since cleaning) but the last 1500KM saw high RPM when warmed up (was 900 when installed)
Thanks guys.

Just tested mine and Kyles also, pre sure mines pooched.
Voltage to the plug should be 12V with the ignition on.
Use a test light to determine which is ground.
To test it you remove the IACV and supply battery voltage the
the terminals. Remember which one is ground. The shutter should be fully closed within 7 minutes. If not its pooched.
Removal of the IACV isnt as bad is it looks either.
Simply take off your J-pipe than remove your throttle body and yeh can get right at it easily. Takes bout 15 mins.
