I was just going to post this. The photos I saw have different rims on the car though.

Back still looks very bulky. And the front looks like a cat. Not too bad though.

Btw, tell Nissan it's only 2010

that is a fast facelift. usually it is done half way through a models lifespan.

I think you just answered your own question.

So R36 in about 2 years? ;)

that is ugly... i sure hope it doesnt go that route...

looks too much like a genesis or something...

needs hard agressive angles that scream " i dont cut through the air, the air moves out of my way "

Visually, there was only minor front and rear bumper changes. Its pretty much the same car with a rear difuser and some angle changes on the front vents. And also slightly redesigned set of rims to go with the body work. I dont see how it all the sudden looks like a genesis..

Besides, a genesis is a gorgeous car!(that looks nothing like a GTR to me)

And as far as the R36, I've read a lot of things but they all basically say this..

It’s been an enormously successful car for the better part of its run over the past few years, but as it turns out, Nissan may finally be ready to park the Nissan R35 in the garage and be replaced by the R36.

According to the boys over at Pistonheads, Nissan vice president of global product planning, Andy Palmer flew in to check up on the brand’s GT-R program at the Nurburgring. While he was there, Palmer reemphasized Nissan’s continued commitment in the development of the GT-R program, so much so that he also hinted on a model (the R36) replacing the R35 in the coming years, expected to be 2013.

It’s a bold move by Nissan, especially considering that performance cars left and right have all upped the ante and released their own sports cars that are being lined up to put the GT-R in its place. So as an answer to all those who are wondering what to make of Nissan’s next step in their GT-R development, Palmer made it abundantly clear: they’re staying in the game, and they’re bringing their guns with them.

According to PH, the R36 will retain its predecessor’s twin-turbo V6 engine, albeit with a few tinkers here and there to make it even more formidable out on the road.

It’s not a complete overhaul as some people expected, but Palmer is seeing the whole process in the big picture. “In that respect, it’s not going to be a massive one-off investment,” he said. “It’s more a case of putting a bit of money into the programme every year, to make sure we keep the GT-R where it needs to be.”

there is no actual ideas of what the R36 might look like yet.. I dont see it getting too far from the look of the R35 IMO

Anything you might see out there is likely just a nerds photochoped idea of what they would like to see

the r35 was never an attractive car. I think it is supposed to be rough around the edges but the new one is just plain ugly.

I dont see how you people all think its ugly all the sudden... I couldnt even see any differences until I read a write up on what the bodywork changes actually were.. It looks 98% the exact same as the old car

But you cant trust any pictures of any R36 you see anywhere... Like I said before its just what some nerd in his moms basement made up from 4 different cars on photoshop his dad paid for

No nissan will look like anything those dorks make up..
