So I've gotta deal with the horrible task of picking out some new wheels for my Silver '92 GTR and I was wanting some input from you guys.
Below are links to what I'm looking at and if anyone has a set of 17" or 18" LMGT4s about 8-9" wide in good shape I may be interested.
Lemme know what you guys think!

most of these

These I think are the 2 winners so far...

the enkei is the only link that takes me to a wheel. I like the rpf1 for function, but im not crazy about how it looks. I think it belongs on a miata. you should just tell us the names of the other wheels so we can look them up (or put up links that dont have "..." in the middle of them)

That's funny!
Selecting the right set of wheels SUCKS! Even when you find some ya like in the right size colour ect. They won't have the right offset.
Apparently low 20mms is the way to go?

my350z.com has the best deals on rims when you do order. I like the works and enkei's

18 x 9.5, +12 is the best fit by far, on an un-rolled/stock R32 GTR.
Not too big, not to small.......just right.

Thanks for that! I hate trying to picture what a wheel looks like on a car.

I should clarify my stand a little bit as well.....
On a LIGHT Coloured car, I simply prefer DARK coloured wheels......doesn't have to be black. DARK Bronze works as well ;)
SEXY.....

NOT SO sexy....

BUT, as with everything....there always seems to be an exception to my rule and should be looked at on a per-bassis...er....bassis.....lol
SEXY (although goes against what I NORMALLY think).....

In the end, it's not my car, so YOU are the only one who needs to be happy with it.
I myself, am boring. The current wheels I have..that came on my car, I would have NEVER bought if given the choice, but now that I have them, I couldn't imagine my car with anything else....lol....other than black TE37's that is....(like I said, I am boring).

I personally think a bronze or gold wheel with possibly a polished or chrome lip would look best.
for whatever stupid reason, I cant find the volk matte bronze (my fav. wheel colour of all time) nice on silver cars...it just doesnt flow

Which wheels are those McFly? Can't tell with them spinning.
I went to see a buddy of mine that owns a shop here. He can get me a pretty good deal on RPF1s. I'm just not too sure on the the silver car w/silver wheels. Have to try to find an actual pic to see what shade of silver they are. I really like them. Appearance is pretty good but the big seller is the weight!
...and McFly you were quite correct about the deals on my350z.com. Just don't know how getting across the damn border would work out!
Thanks for all the input guys... buying wheels SUCKS! I think the tires are gonna be Nitto Invos. Feel free to toss in any input on those. I've got no experience with Nitto but the TireRack rates them well and I can get a smokin' deal on 'em.

What kind of price have you been seeing on the Nittos?
I have RPF1s in SBC and I personally don't like that finish. It seems to chip quite easily from my experiences

Man I know what you mean by choosing wheels for your car, I've had a hell of time picking out what I want and its so hard finding photos of your car with the wheels you want o see on it! I finally came to my decision and am going to go with a Bronze wheel from TSW http://www.tswalloywheels.com/alloy_wheels_willow.php If I were you I'd go with those CR-KAI's bronze looks deadly on black I think but don't know what it'd look like on a silver one. good luck!

The decision has been made and I'm going to HIGHLY recommend Peter at Image In Motion. He was VERY quick with replies and had the best deal by far.
I went with the gunmetal CR-Kais in a 18x9.5 with Dunlop Direzza Star Specs 255-35-18.
They should be here in about 2 weeks.

Good Choice man, those Cr-Kais will be a nice addition. I think for my next set of rims im going to go with another set of works. Probably the Vs-Cf.

Good tire choice, my buddy ran them last year and he liked them more then his RT-615's.

personally on a silver car, closer to it's color like the RPF1's are the best. Photoshop it if you want just to see, this will give you the best idea of how it will look.
Good luck!

XS engineering is good for wheels as well. I bought my SSR Sp1's from Eric for $2600 U.S. when the dollar was on par. He said he would sell me the Enkei RPF1 18 x 10.5 for something like $280 per wheel when I was looking for a track wheel.
